Jordan Montalvo and Carlos Romero Munoz arrested for capital murder in Sandra Montes DeEscamilla’s death!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – MPs and SWAT have detained two teens for the premeditated murder of a woman who was returning home from work.

Jordan Montalvo, 18, and Carlos Romero Munoz, 17, are being held without bail for a series of crimes on August 10.

Sources told ABC13 that Sandra Montes Descamilla, 45, was seen in surveillance video driving into the Falls of West Oak apartments around 2 a.m. Three men in masks and gloves were chasing her car as she turned into her unit.

About 10 minutes later, police reported seeing Montes’ car driving out of the compound with a man named Sylvin Sandoval behind the wheel.

According to the sources, he later confessed to the police that they “targeted” the 45-year-old girl, kidnapped and assaulted her, and took her to an ATM to withdraw cash.

For some unknown reason, she did not, and Montalvo resented.

The suspects led the woman to a nearby apartment in Rio Bonito, where she was ordered to be put in the trunk of a car and then shot to death.

That was when Montalvo and Romero pointed the gun at Sandoval and shot him multiple times, according to Sandoval.

He was taken to the hospital via Life Flight and survived his injuries.

Deputies found Montes Descamilla in the trunk of the car after being alerted that Sandoval had said a woman had been shot.

Eight days after the murder, investigators were able to match Nakhil’s fingerprint on Montes’ car with Romero.

On the same day, sources also said that Houston police called the sheriff’s office and matched the information the two agencies linked to the Montalvo crime.

Officials say Montalvo is said to be a potential murder suspect in a murder that the Counter-Terrorism Department is currently working on.

Sources said Romero and Montalvo claim to be part of the MS-13 gang.

The prosecutor submitted a request to the judge to keep the teens held without bail throughout the case. In the lawsuit, the attorney general said the defendants “will likely be punished with the death penalty if the law is enforced.”

It is not clear whether the state plans to seek the death penalty.

The two men are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday at nine in the morning

Sandoval was not charged with the crime on August 10. He is currently in prison on various charges.
